Join my gang!

If you love writing and would like to meet others who share your passion, how about joining the club? This one won’t cost a bean, but to keep it manageable membership is limited to twelve people.

On a recent trip to the UK I went along to a friend’s creative writing group and discovered the joy of ‘talking writing’ with fellow devotees.

So, I wondered if there are other itinerant or isolated people around the world who would like to get together on the net to discuss our writing?

lizcleere.com launches with a creative travel writing competition tomorrow and the prize will be membership of this writing club.

Once up and running we will write 500 words every fortnight, and critique each others work. I will set the first theme, but other members will chip in with ideas and suggestions as we roll along. The emphasis will be on travel, but we will explore other avenues of writing together too — a good way of exercising the creative brain muscle.

For those who don’t want to join the group but want their voices to be heard, there’s a Coffee Shop for everyone to share their views, comments, rants and… well, anything.
